Diagon Alley and Environs Tweaked by our Master Builder...

Master builder for Lost Paradise grid Doc Falworth has floored us again with another custom build, this one for the square in Dickens Plaza.

If you haven’t visited here yet (hypergrid with this URI: lpgrid.com:8002:Dickens Plaza) the theme is loosely based on Harry Potter, with several of the stores named after shops in Diagon Alley.   Our rendition features a busy urban district circa turn of the 20th century London.  The region is ringed by vast mountains and a few steam-punk flying machines made by Vbianna R of Steam in Osgrid.

Now, Doc has applied his handiwork to the central square, and made it into beautiful English style garden with fountains.  Dotted around the square are our Dickens “residents” doing everything from watching the fountains to reading a fresh edition of The Daily Prophet.

The square also features the Flying Hackney by Vbianna, anyone is free to take a jaunt over the streets.  A small residential area of Victorian –era homes ring the square.

We have a few small shops in this area, one featuring “Magical Pets” where you can get a pet Snowy Owl or Dragon.  There are many other shops for rent for the price of free. If you have steam-punk wares you would like to sell (for free or for profit) please stop by and join our merchants group and claim a spot.
Dickens Plaza is in a busy part of the Heritage Estate, bordered by our popular residential sim, Bramford and our modern club area, Westhorpe (connected by a custom causeway and bridge).

Enjoy the new pictures below

Come visit, come shop and say hello.

Doc ponders what he will next tweak in this collaborative build.  One of his lady friends admires the fountain behind him.

A new store for one of the street corners with a uniquely angled facade.

The Docks area features a somewhat grimy, gritty and big turn of the century warehouse and lofts. For rent!

View of the dock area. Note the large Dirigible in the background. Yes, you can go in it!
Overview of the new square with the English styled fountain. Hmmm I think this balloon should be flyable....

The Wesley brothers opened a joke shop in Diagon Alley called Wesley Wizards Wheezes.  Here is our rendition. We have left it bare for a new tenant.

What's Been Happening May 2014

Great Things Happening ...
Its been a while since writing in this blog lately because we have been quite busy developing several regions.  Specifically, we have Heritage 54 and Westhorpe in major development.

Each of these regions are unique, but they each will offer several activities.

Heritage 54 is 3/4 done, and will feature our flagship nightclub, of the same name. The theme is black tie Jazz, totally Lux.  The nightclub is decorated like an Art Deco lounge, with plush cushy seats and dripping with dazzling lights.  Seating is both indoor and out.

But when you can tear yourself away from this new venue, you will be dazzled by the new, upscale shopping area, Heritage 54 Emporium, featuring formal clothing and accessories and other sophisticated items for the home.   We have several stores opened and more stores available for the discerning creator.  Please contact me if you are interested in this unique opportunity as the stores will be going fast.

At the other end of the spectrum is the region Westhorpe, run and owned by DJ Peter Nagy.   The feel for this region is post-modern Miami Beach – slightly urban, slightly suburban but very fun.

Central to this region is Peter’s edgy club, with a live message board for requests and comments.
Also outdoor seating and dancing on the patio.

If you can drag yourself away from the music, check out the surrounding areas. There are several streets of mixed residential and light commercial including several stores for rent.   All the houses are modern in feel, and the houses are available to rent if you like the region and would like to stay.  There are drivable roads, sidewalks, and several spots to hang out along the way.   You can rent a home by joining the Heritage Resident Group or a store by joining the Heritage Merchants Group.

One side of the region is dedicated to parkland, featuring several pieces of modern art, and fountains.

Also in development is a new clothing and accessories store, called The Reptilian Elite, which will feature post-modern edgewear.  Look out for it ;).

Pictures soon Come visit .
