New to Open Sim? Here's how to get logged in!

If you are a Second Lifer, you probably have a good working knowlege of how to login to get onto the grid.  You may even own a third party viewer, a browser like add on that lets you play and move inworld.

Here are some rudimentary instructions for those who never logged onto an Opensim World.
First step : register with an avatar name on the website.

http://lpgrid.com/index.php/newaccount/

After your request is approved please use either of these methods to enter our grid.

       How to Login for your first visit to Lost Paradise.

Singularity Viewer type user name and password into viewer login screen.
Under location copy and paste this URI:  http://lpgrid.com:8002:Heritage Plaza

this, according to Singuarlity, should find the grid and log you in.

Firestorm Viewer - You must download the Firestorm viewer for Opensim first. Here is the link to download.
Then open your viewer.
Viewer>Preferences>Opensim
Add Grid > in URI field put lpgrid.com:8002
Hit the apply button
The grid should then be found
 close this window

on bottom login and password, dropdown for grid and find Lost Paradise.
